Civil Engineering
Civil Engineering has a special status in Engineering Education. Civil Engineering plays a key role in the development of other fields of Engineering. Civil engineering involves scientific principles, theory of mechanics and knowledge of mathematics, application of computers to plan, analysis, design and construction for any type of infrastructure. The department will give a jumble approach of theoretical and practical application of the skills which will help the students to achieve a high level of technical expertise. Civil Engineering Department is in the thirteen year. At present, the strength of the department is around 200 students. We have Environmental Engineering lab, Strength of Materials lab, Fluid Mechanics lab, Soil Mechanics lab, Survey lab, Concrete lab and Transportation lab with all modern high capacity equipments.
