His aspiration is to prepare the next generation Engineers with various skill sets according to the needs of the Industry. He sets high standards for the academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular development of students. He uses analysis, wisdom, experience, and logical methods to make good decisions.

  • AICTE and Internshala ranking 2019: Out of 2803 colleges, SCET got 527th All India rank, 182 th rank in South Zone and 48th rank in Tamil Nadu.
  • AICTE and Internshala ranking 2020: Organized Awareness programme for students ‘A Roadmap for Summer Internship’ and subjugated Certificate of Appreciation for active participation.
  • AICTE Chhatra Vishwa Karma Awards 2019 which recognizes and honour the innovative work of the students displaying exceptional skills in different categories was awarded for the project ‘Cultivation and Harvesting’ and out of 1495 projects, 3 innovative projects were selected and in south zone SCET accomplished second place.
  • Swachh Campus Ranking 2019 – Annual Swachhta ranking was awarded in the Ceremony of Jal Sakthi Abiyan as the one among top 100 colleges all over India by AICTE and Government of India.
  • A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Young Research Fellowship was bestowed for the project under the title ‘Cotton India’.

  • Smart India Hackathon 2020- Hosted Smart India Hackathon for the first time in 2020.
  • Mentored Students teams to win cash prizes in Smart India Hackathon (SIH) organized in various institutions such as VIT, IIT, Anna University, PSG, NIT, Raipur, GMR Institute of Technology, Kakkinada, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology and Sona College of Technology.
