The Founders

The founders with a long time prospective vision identified a serene and calm atmosphere nearly their native place and established an Engineering College at M.Perumapalayam, Mettupatty, Salem on the Salem – Chennai National Highway to cater t the socially and economically backward classes especially for rural folk and to be managed entirely by the Siva Sakthi Charities. The college is ideally located, flanked by the National Highways and Railway lines. Institution was named after the district name “Salem” (i.e.) SALEM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY and started functioning from the academic year 2009-2010. Siva Sakthi Charities comprises a team of highly respected business people who are fond of creating an institution imparting quality technical education.
